Money, taxation and residency payments

The Sohnland offers a currency exchange from SPS to GBP and back, however, the exchange rate may vary depending on its fluctuating value. Exchange rates to other currencies outside the UK will be taxed and rates may drastically vary.

Payment for residency is £24 per night, services from local departments may vary cost depending on citizenship status. Government services are not available for residents. We do not cover costs for living, only the space occupied.  Click here for residency information for citizens.

The costs for shipping and postage are covered for private individuals without a monetary incentive. There are tariffs and regulations for businesses for imports and subsidies may vary. Learn more about business subsidies here
